We are really excited about DOG EAT DOG, which tells the story of how Zach tried to adopt a dog… before Noah. It is written by our friend Sian Heder, who lived the experience with Zach. She is also directing.

BTD presents Mr. Murder is Dead at Nerd HQ

In the midst of Comic-Con madness, Zachary Levi and his company, The Nerd Machine, have launched Nerd HQ. It is a second spot for fans to meet with creators and stars. And this year, Before The Door will be bringing our new graphic novel, Mr. Murder is Dead, to the Nerd HQ to debut.

Victor Quinaz, the writer of Mr. Murder, and Brent Schoonover, the artist, will join Zach, Neal, Corey and Michael McMillian, writer of Lucid, in a panel moderated by Archaia’s Editor-in-Chief, Stephen Christy. Also joining

Mr. Murder is Dead is a hardcover graphic novel about a hard-boiled cop in his twilight years, with flashbacks to his prime. The artwork spans several decades of comic book styles.

There will be a signing following the presentation, where fans can get signatures on Mr. Murder and Lucid hardcovers.

Mr. Murder is Dead is ONLY available at the Nerd HQ panel and at the Archaia booth on the Comic Con floor. The book will be released in bookstores in September 2011.

Victor and Philip Quinaz and Anna Martemucci created PERIODS. The new short, BEFORE AFTER II, is a co-production between Before The Door Pictures, Nomadic Films, and Robinson Films, Inc.
